I think the double standard is evident of our patriarchal society…people forget that men are also victims in this structure…young men using steroids to try to obtain this hyper masculinity look…but one thing I would say over all anecdotally I think people focus too much on the rhetoric they see online, in my everyday life I don’t have women screaming at me nor do I see men assaulting women every second I understand these actions do occur but at what rate that our minds should be inundated with these concerns.
